Philippine Consulate in Oklahoma

Oklahoma belongs to the Philippine Consulate General in Houston. This is another state where the published maps disagree: several official pages still list Oklahoma under Chicago, but the current jurisdiction map from the Embassy in Washington assigns it to Houston.
Your consulate at a glance
How far the consulate is from your city
Driving distances to the consulate that covers each city, calculated at posted speed limits and without traffic:
| City | Consulate | Distance | Journey |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lawton | Houston | 426 miles | 7 h 42 min by car |
| Norman | Houston | 437 miles | 7 h 46 min by car |
| Oklahoma City | Houston | 453 miles | 8 h 1 min by car |
| Tulsa | Houston | 504 miles | 9 h 10 min by car |
From Tulsa that is 9 h 10 min by car each way, which makes it worth checking the consular outreach schedule before committing to the drive: missions bring passport and dual citizenship services to cities without a consulate, and the appointments are free.
What you do not need a consulate for
Before booking anything, check whether your document involves a consulate at all. Three of the most common ones do not:
The short version: PSA certificates are ordered online from Manila, apostilles on documents issued in Oklahoma come from the state's own competent authority, since 15 May 2019 the consulate cannot authenticate them, and the NBI clearance travels by mail; its fingerprints can be taken at a consulate or at a police station, according to the NBI.
Set against that, two things cannot be delegated or posted: passport biometrics and the RA 9225 oath. A notarial document can go either way, signed at the consulate or before a local notary with an apostille, according to the notarial page of the Chicago consulate.
By road, Oklahoma City is 453 miles from the Houston consulate (8 h 1 min at posted speed limits). The correction matters: it decides which consulate can take your appointment.

We check the details regularly, but they can change without notice, always confirm with the consulate before you travel.
